Get to Know Me: Behind the Chair & Beyond

Hey there! I wanted to take a moment to share a bit more about myself—both inside and outside the salon—and walk you through what it’s like to sit in my chair.

I’ve been doing hair for 22 years, and I still absolutely love what I do. I offer a wide variety of services, from color (think blondes, balayage, reds, brunettes, and dimensional tones) to all kinds of cuts—precision, pixies, shags, long, short, and curly. Curly hair is a particular passion of mine. Not only do I specialize in it professionally, but I also have curls myself—so I get the frustration of not finding the right stylist.

I also offer smoothing treatments, keratin bond extensions, and occasionally bridal or special event styling. I love the creativity those events bring, but these days I try to protect my weekends a little more.

When I’m not behind the chair, I’ve been happily married for 19 years and am a proud mom to two amazing kids (ages 14 and 11), plus a small zoo—one dog, three cats, and yes, even a snake (my daughter’s idea, not mine!). On a typical day You can find me walking my dog or by my pool. If I’m not there I’m either getting a massage while daydreaming about my next adventure with my family (because I love to travel.) I love silly phone games like Merge Mansion and Pokémon Go, and I can talk TV shows all day. Seriously—I have strong opinions and I love a good binge-watch.

What to Expect at Your Appointment

When a new client reaches out—whether it’s through my website, social media, or text—we start with a digital consultation. You’ll send me pictures of your current hair and your dream hair, and we’ll go over timing, pricing, and expectations.

When you arrive at the salon, I’ll greet you with your drink of choice: coffee, espresso, tea, soda, wine, or even a seasonal cocktail. We’ll revisit your inspo pics and talk about what’s realistic for your lifestyle and styling habits.

Then comes the best part (at least, according to most clients): a luxurious six-minute head massage in our European wash bowls, which recline fully like a comfy bed. After that, we head to my chair where I focus on every detail of your service, No hair left untouched.

I’m a great conversationalist (if I do say so myself), but I also completely support silent appointments. Pop in your earbuds and relax—whatever works for you.

After the service, I’ll walk you through any products I used, and if you’re interested, help you choose what to take home. We’ll book your next appointment, and I’m always just a text away if you have questions in between visits.

My Philosophy: Client experience, Authenticity, and Heart

I pride myself on creating a space where you feel 100% comfortable—from start to finish. little check-ins and moments that make sure your needs are met every step of the way. Think: “Is that water too hot?” or “Head over to the chair, I’ll be right there.” Like a great server who just gets you.

I don’t double book, I rarely run late, and I never cancel unless it’s absolutely unavoidable (seriously like twice a year—it stresses me out more than being sick!).

Authenticity is everything to me. I’ll always be real with you. I’ll gently guide you if a look isn’t right for your face shape or hair type, and I’ll never push products you don’t need. I’ll suggest one or two to complement what you already have—because good hair care doesn’t have to mean throwing everything out.

My Why

At the core of it all, my mission is simple: to make people feel seen, heard, and confident. Whether that means helping you recognize your natural beauty or just brightening your day, this work fills my cup—and I’m so grateful to share it with you.

Can’t wait to see you in my chair.
